But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
A victorious spirit affects every part of who we are. A victorious spirit effects everything related to us.
A defeated spirit affects every part of who we are. A defeated spirit effects everything related to us.
Let’s see what the word of God says about leading us into triumph. (more…)
Someone Cares for YOU
While walking along the street one day thinking about the things that was happening in my life and wondering what I was going to do, how I was going to cope, I was given a piece of paper and told to read it by a complete stranger, so when I got on the bus home, I took the paper and unfolded it, and this is what it said. Faith That Moves Mountains: First, Forget The Mountain by Rob Marshall
When reading Jesus’ words in Mark 11:22-24, I have never known whether the mountain he mentions is symbolic or real. The Bible simply says, “’Have faith in God,’ Jesus answered. ’I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’” (more…)

Jesus: He Walked Among Us by Karin Peavy
The name above all names is Jesus (see Philippians 2:9). This high standing was given to Him by the Father because Jesus accomplished what no one else could. What did He accomplish?
1. He resisted sin.
Jesus was tempted in the same areas we are, yet He never made a mistake (see Hebrews 4:15). Think about the phrase “all points” for a minute. This verse is telling us that that every temptation common to man including lying, stealing, bad thoughts, anger, etc. was thrown at Jesus. Yet He never fell for any of it. (more…)
Savior, life, Jesus, Salvation, Why Do We Need A Savior?

In creation, God made man in his own image and gave him dominion over the earth realm, having a kingdom as he himself had a kingdom called Heaven. He formed the figure of man from the dust of the Earth and breathed his own life into him. Thus he made a friend that he could relate to, talk and walk with. (more…)

Article by Linda C Dipman
A young Christian woman lay on an examination table, she was just diagnosed with a terminal illness, and she was determined to not be afraid of dying. She closed her eyes and imagined what it would be like to meet God face to face. An older couple lay awake; they just found out there retirement money was stolen by a greedy bank executive. The husband held his wife in his arms, and snickered at Satan’s attempt to ruin their lives, “At least we won’t have to work for money in heaven!” (more…)

Who you are, where you were born, or where you live.
The amount of money you presently have in your bank account, billfold or purse or don’t presently have in your bank account, billfold or purse.
Amount of time you have or don’t have. (Faith has no time, it is always “now” Faith. Faith is always present tense. – I have _____ now. I can do _____ now. I am _____ now.) (more…)

There is a wonderful story that illustrates the advice Jesus gave His followers when He sent them out to tell people the good news – the news that the Kingdom of God is within. It’s about a struggle between the Wind and the Sun, about who was the most powerful. The Wind thought he was stronger because of his destructive might in twisters, hurricanes, sand storms, and electric storms. He pointed out his ability to turn a simple cigarette or lightning strike into a horrific forest fire which could destroy hundreds of thousands of acres of woods. (more…)
What Is Spiritual Personal Development?
Posted in: Christianity, Jesus Christ, Religion Tags: development, god, Jesus, Religion, self help, spiritual
You might have read a personal development book within the last year or two. Have you ever read a book on spiritual personal development? What is the difference between the two? Personal development books are also called self-help books. Spiritual personal development is not “self-help.” Spiritual personal development is “God-help.” In that one change of words, from self-help to God-help, is a world of difference. (more…)

In Matthew 20:1-16, we read an interesting story that many find confusing and problematic. This selection is the story of the landowner who paid his field workers the same wage when they worked in his vineyard, regardless of how much time they put in. But from a metaphysical standpoint, the story is rich with practical applications for spiritual development. (more…)
