RESPONSE TO THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES TEACHING ON BEING BORN AGAIN
RESPONSE TO THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES TEACHING ON BEING BORN AGAIN
By Jeremiah opusunju
1. The Jehovah witnesses preach that believers do not need to be born again to inherit the kingdom of God on earth. During this dispensation of grace, this teaching is a perversion of the gospel of Christ.
Jesus Christ said that no one will see or enter into the kingdom of God (whether in heaven or on earth) during the dispensation of grace (the period of the gospel of Christ) without being born again (John 1:9-13; 3:3-19; 1Peter 2:13; Galatians 1:6-9). (more…)

The Parable of the 10 Virgins – a Warning to Christians in the Last Days
By Robert Hawes
Among the teachings of Jesus, the parable of the 10 Virgins, found in Matthew chapter 25, ranks as one of the most grave. In it, the Lord presents a warning, namely that some of those who set out with the best of intentions to find the kingdom of God will not enter it, but will find themselves turned away in the end. As such, this is not a teaching that we can afford to misunderstand. (more…)
Through Me
“I praise you Father for all of the wonderful things that you do and what you choose to do through me today!” It is not all about me and what I can do but what God can do through me. Getting your eyes off of yourself and your selfish desires and wants and focussing on what God wants to do through you that impacts people and life around you. It starts as a daily attitude that you wrap your mind around every morning. How does your day start? Do spend some time with God in the morning to help start your day off right? Just as you would prepare for an important interview or presentation you should prepare yourself to meet the day head on as one who “is more than a conquer”. Putting on the mindset of Christ every morning is how you adjust your attitude. (more…)
Christ Cares
Mark 4:39
How do we know Christ cares? Let’s examine some recorded facts of Christ caring for all creation. First, He shed Himself of His glory to suffer human humiliation and limitations even to the point of death. Second, Christ came to earth for the sole purpose of providing salvation for mankind. Salvation is made possible through His shed blood on Calvary’s cross, reconciling humanity back to God, the Father. (more…)
The Crucifixion
“It is Finished”
Part 3 The Easter Series
The following writing contains explicit expressions, as it relates to the crucifixion suffered by Christ. While discomforting, the brutal reality of sins penalty reveals the wondrous depths of God’s love for us.
Knowing his fate, he entered the garden. It was there in a place of fellowship with God that his communion with man would come to an end.
Soldiers came – close friends fled his side. The time had come. The road to death and sacrifice was before him. Reluctant in the flesh, yet eager and willing in the spirit, he cried to God, “Not as I will, but as you will.” Once begun there would be no release. The penalty of sin would be brutal – this journey to death would move quickly and would be one he must travel alone. (more…)
ADAM AND EVE DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD WHILE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
ADAM AND EVE DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD WHILE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
By c r morris
The fall of man back in the Garden of Eden did not take God by surprise. God being omniscience knows all things. His sovereignty lets us know he is always in control.
So from the foundation of the world, God has had a plan in place to redeem man whom he created in his image and loved. He did this by sending his only begotten Son, The Lord Jesus, into the world to be a sacrifice for sin once and for all by his death, burial, and resurrection. It is through Jesus Christ and him alone that we can be reconciled to God. (more…)
Fragmented Footing
Growing up in a household that never went to church, never believed in God, and constantly used Christ’s name in vain, I can honestly say that I had no conception of what church should be or what it really looked like outside of what I saw on TV or in the movies (“Footloose”). After accepting Christ into my life and learning to understand what the Church should be, my fresh perspective can almost be considered a hindrance…well, at least inconvenient. (more…)

New Creations A Super Bible School Activity for Your Elementary Kids
One of the most beautiful transformations in all of nature has to be the caterpillar becoming a butterfly. The old has gone, the new has come. Second Corinthians 5:17 is the ultimate showcase verse for this amazing principle, which says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.” As God’s children, we may not have sprouted wings on the day of our second birth, but we are changing from glory to glory and one day we will shed these old bodies and put on a new body far greater than we can even imagine! I think 2 Corinthians 5:17 is a hallmark Scripture that every Christian should have memorized, so here is a fun Bible school activity you can play with your children to help them memorize it as well. Let everything that has breath thank the Lord
By May Olusola
That fact that we are alive, and healthy is enough reason to give God all the glory for what He is doing in our midst. How many people started this year hopeful for the best but are shockingly six feet under today? How many people had to change their lifestyle because they became unemployed and have stayed unemployed for many months? How many people who lived lavish lifestyles before now have lost their wealth and are now victims of poverty?Ā Talk less of those that came under so much persecution and lost their lives or body parts because of the gospel that many of us take for granted. I can go on and on but I am sure these are enough reasons to provoke you to begin thanking God unconditionally. (more…)
In The Garden
In The Garden
Matthew 26:36-45
John 17
Each Easter we tell the story of the resurrection and how that Jesus after 3 days was raised from the dead. We then celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and rightfully so because it is the day that we recognize the resurrection of Christ. And without the death burial and resurrection we would be without hope. But this year I feel is to be a little different than what is normal. Christ had to get through the cross to get to the resurrection. We pay little attention to the Garden of Gethsemane but that is the place where the battle for the victory over the cross took place. Christ knew that he had to die and that his mission on this earth was to die for the sins of the world. But his flesh was fighting wanting to live. How did Jesus win the victory in the garden? Let’s take a look at that for a minute. (more…)
In The Body Of Christ

In the Body of Christ the fulfillment lies, the promise fulfilled.
In the Body of Christ God blesses us, God loves us, God protects us, God redeems us.
In the Body of Christ, God’s grace flows unto us, just as if we are Christ Himself, because we are in the Body of Christ. (more…)
A Sweet Fragrance from Life to Life
By Jack Vorster
Did you know that you are a sweet fragrance to God regardless of whether or not you have appropriated salvation through Jesus Christ?
We all died within a single body, that of Christ. When God looks upon you and me, He sees Christ within us, Who paid the penalty for our spiritual death. Christ stands clean before God and we enjoy the same status, but only because of Jesus Christ.
However, there is a condition attached. Let’s look 2 Cor. 2:15,16. “For we are unto God a sweet savour (aroma, fragrance) of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish. To the one (that perishes) we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other (the saved) the savour of life unto life”. (more…)
Serving leadership
Serving leadership
By beatrice ofwona
The church has a lot of resources but no leadership to help manage it. God is constantly looking for leaders whom He can use in his Kingdom, unfortunately many people shy away from or compromise on true leadership. 1Timothy 3 gives the specifications for an overseer and even tells us that it is noble to desire to be this person. It is alright to aspire for leadership but true leadership must come with an integration of person, practice and principles.
If you are bequeathed with a lot of talents yet continue to use them unwisely, you will soon be poor. Leadership is about spiritual character which radiates to others and positively influences them. (more…)
