You Know Me Lord ~ Psalm 139, Part 1

This Psalm (139) is probably my most favorite of all the Psalms. I have read it many times throughout my Christian journey. It has given me comfort and assurance in ways that are both deep and profound. It is Rhema to me, life-giving words to live by. Just today I read it again. Once more, it has jumped out at me, specifically the part posted above.

Love and Joy and Jesus life are those Waters in the Well that never go dry. You don’t have to keep them, you can give them away. And the more we give, the more we get in return to give away again.
Five Fold Ministry and Isaiah 28:23-29

God loves diversity. Every seed and plant is different, just as people are different. Every single seed, plant, vegetable, fruit, tree, vine, and person has a unique quality. I truly believe that is why there are so many differences in preaching and teaching techniques. What reaches one heart and mind may not penetrate another. It doesn’t necessarily make one right and one wrong, just different. Now when it comes to preaching or teaching God’s Word, it must align with the Bible or it is false doctrine. False doctrine, deceit, lies, and manipulation is absolutely intolerable and abominable.
Christian Growth

So also is the infant Christian. Every prayer he prays, God Almighty being the Father seems to answer immediately. He begins to see and enjoy the unsearchable riches in Christ Jesus; though having lots of questions in mind. To such did Peter admonish: “Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation” (1Peter 2:2 Amplified).
Pray With Out Ceasing

But the truth of the matter is, He wants our memories all day long. Just in the same manner you think of your lover all day long. He refers us as his brides. He is in love with us. Are we in love with Him? Some times in our lives we feel God is a million miles away and doesn’t really care about us anyway. But the truth of the matter is, are we a million miles away from Him?

Trust in God
by Cindy Biggar
Proverbs 3:5 tells us “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.” This is probably one of the most difficult instructions to follow. Just why is it so hard for us to totally trust God and stop trying to figure out things for ourselves? We always [...]

Psalm 82
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

THE OTHER SIDE OF FAITH

These are questions that gnaw at those who are in suffering, and those who watch others suffer, praying helplessly as it were for the suffering to be alleviated, and quickly moving from pity to condemning or judging the sufferer if it isn’t.

If I was to mention the island of Puna to you I wonder if you would know where it is? Well it is part of Ecuador and at one time the only people that lived there was aboriginal people. Nowadays the local population is comprised of children, but very poor children with no shoes to wear and with very little by way of medication to take care of them when they fall ill, which they often do because of the many flies which carry diseases.

Up until the seventeenth century, young babies were tightly wrapped in swaddling clothes and carried to the font in a “bearing cloth”. This was a large square piece of silk, edged with trimmings of gold lace and braid.
