Walk of the Living Dead
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27
This is our lot in life as sons of Adam, Birth and Death. The span of years offers both good and evil, the sublime and horrific as all things pertaining to life are found between those two little words. A Mother’s kiss, a Father’s stern rebuke, hurts by friends or the simple joy of a warm spring day with the clouds drifting lazily by in a deep sea of blue. The loss of loved ones and the birth of new ones are woven into this tapestry that we call life. (more…)
The Church’s Dark Age of IndulgencesHere Again!
By SIXTUS ONYEANUSI
History told us that there was a time the church entered into a “dark age”, that is, when unbiblical teachings and practices, hypocritical lies and heresies were introduced into the church which ought not to be so because the Church of God is and should be the pillar of truth. It was an age when the true revelation knowledge of God was lost, it became dim and shallow, as the ones who were still holding forth the word of truth-the word of faith were excommunicated, beaded and terminated from the face of the Church.

DOES GOD HEAR THE PRAYERS OF UNBELIEVERS? (Inspired by Jill Briscoe, Rick Warren and myself)
DOES GOD HEAR THE PRAYERS OF UNBELIEVERS? (Inspired by Jill Briscoe, Rick Warren and myself)
By Sana Edoja
DOES GOD HEAR the prayers of people who aren’t Christians? Yes! Every one of us who came to faith in Christ was an unbeliever once, and God heard our prayer of repentance.
Captain Cornelius is a good example of a good man who was in the habit of praying. He was devout, he feared God, and he gave generously to charity (Acts 10:2). His entire household followed suit. (more…)
Through Me
“I praise you Father for all of the wonderful things that you do and what you choose to do through me today!” It is not all about me and what I can do but what God can do through me. Getting your eyes off of yourself and your selfish desires and wants and focussing on what God wants to do through you that impacts people and life around you. It starts as a daily attitude that you wrap your mind around every morning. How does your day start? Do spend some time with God in the morning to help start your day off right? Just as you would prepare for an important interview or presentation you should prepare yourself to meet the day head on as one who “is more than a conquer”. Putting on the mindset of Christ every morning is how you adjust your attitude. (more…)
Four Eyes

1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Eze 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
Ac 28:26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: (more…)
THE VALUE OF A GOOD DEED
“And the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control. Against such things there is no law”.
Galatians 5:22-23
It is by faith that we get salvation. Salvation imbues the Holy Spirit to indwell in us; to teach, guide, and encourage us. Through faith we can do great things, even move mountains (Matthew 17: 20-21). However, often the smallest things with do to show love to others in need are the ones which bring more fully to us the fruits of the Holy Spirit. (more…)
Born Again

By Don Pedal
Many years ago, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of the water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to the flesh but the Spirit gives birth to the spirit”. (John 3:5).
Two simple words, born again, yet they are two of the most profound and important words in scripture. (more…)
Mutual faith
By jacqui julyan aka shofargirl a servant unto Jesus Christ
Romans 1 v 12
“That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me”
As I turned the radio off this morning I sat quietly with the LORD and his Word.
I had walked my dog, picked up the shopping for the day and fed both my cat and dog. I made myself comfortable and mused in my heart ‘Well Lord what have you to say to me today?’
Picking up Gods Word in faith is our food, our very life! (more…)
Somewhere At This Moment
Somewhere At This Moment
By Bob Valleau
Somewhere, at this moment, a child flinches from the hands of an abuser.
Somewhere, at this moment, a teenager decides to do drugs for the first time.
Somewhere, at this moment, a man thinks suicide is the answer to all he has lost.

The Forest
The Forest
By elsie flynn
I was walking through a meadow,
bright warm sun-rays shining down.
Wildflowers, showing their glorious colors and beauty,
gracefully sway from side to side.
Gentle breezes broadcast their sweet aroma through the air.
I get to the edge of the meadow,
to the tree-line at the entrance to the forest.
At first it does not look that scary,
but the further into the forest I journey,
the thicker and darker it gets.
There are fallen limbs and logs,
all sorts of obstacles I have to climb over,
making travel a challenge.
I wander on and on and instead of making progress,
I’m only going around in circles,
each path bringing me back to the same spot.
Exhausted, I sit down on the rotted log,
and admit I cannot go any further.
It’s dark.
I’m cold.
I hear noises that frighten me.
I am powerless.
I am lost.

The Flavour of Jesus (4) – neighbour
The Flavour of Jesus (4) – neighbour
By Richard L. Provencher
JESUS gave his subjects a welcome tenet—love your neighbour as you love yourself. This is not just a fancy choice of words since it has a much deeper meaning. Without love and consideration for your neighbour, how can you deal effectively with life? (more…)
The Last Hours of Christ’s Life Teaches Us Much about Ourselves
By Bob Butler
As we walk with Him in the last twenty-four hours of His life we see five attributes that we need to learn. The first one is humility. Jesus, the King OF Kings, took off His outer garment and began to wash the disciple’s feet. This is a picture that we need to study and learn. If we humble ourselves he won’t have to humble us. I once told this to a pastor and he said that we should not pray for humility because God will answer that one. I explained that God only humbles those who refuse to humble themselves. God will never humiliate a person, but He will humble one that gets too proud. (more…)
The Flavour of Jesus (2) – health
The Flavour of Jesus (2) – health
By Richard L. Provencher
JESUS is known as the Great Physician, a miracle worker. I know because He provided my healing during a stroke recovery, which began on August 24, 1999. So many times we expose ourselves to the demands of our world, through rugged and competitive business environments.
Stress is a trigger, which slams us into the ground in a variety of ways. And so often we rely solely on prescription drugs, rather than take time to pray for our healing. The world uses advertisement in a big way to promote man’s way of dealing with sickness. No wonder we get confused at the best way to deal with a situation. (more…)
Christ Cares
Mark 4:39
How do we know Christ cares? Let’s examine some recorded facts of Christ caring for all creation. First, He shed Himself of His glory to suffer human humiliation and limitations even to the point of death. Second, Christ came to earth for the sole purpose of providing salvation for mankind. Salvation is made possible through His shed blood on Calvary’s cross, reconciling humanity back to God, the Father. (more…)
The Triumphal Entry
“The Triumphal Entry”
Part 1 The Easter Series
“Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them,”?’My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a ‘den of robbers.’ The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.” Matthew 21:12-15
Consider for a moment, if you would, the differing responses Jesus received during his triumphal entry into Jerusalem: Crossing through the city gates he was praised by the crowds, saying, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” However, a few moments later, while entering into the “House of God,” the chief priest and religious scribes questioned him in anger, “Do you hear what these are saying?” (more…)
