The Law of Moses was given through the administration of angels
Posted in: bible studies Tags: angels, bible, bible studies, Christ, christian, Christianity, commandments, israel, Judaism, lord, Torah, worship
It is commonly believed that the Law [Torah], which is the foundation stone of Judaism and indirectly, Christianity, was given to Moses on fiery, Mount Sinai came from God; but in actuality it came through the administration of the angels of God. Of course, it is believed that these commandments, statutes and ordinances were directed by God Himself and therefore were obligatory for the children of Israel to observe and practice in the worship of their LORD. The Church’s Dark Age of IndulgencesHere Again!
By SIXTUS ONYEANUSI
History told us that there was a time the church entered into a “dark age”, that is, when unbiblical teachings and practices, hypocritical lies and heresies were introduced into the church which ought not to be so because the Church of God is and should be the pillar of truth. It was an age when the true revelation knowledge of God was lost, it became dim and shallow, as the ones who were still holding forth the word of truth-the word of faith were excommunicated, beaded and terminated from the face of the Church.

Miracle Lightning Strike!
By BILL HUNT
Can you witness to someone who speaks another language? Dark haired and dark eyed, this striking uniformed woman entered the crowded gift shop in Central Florida. The Hebrew on her uniform told me she was a traveling Israeli Army officer. An elderly American couple accompanied her. When I greeted the strangers by the impulse of the Holy Spirit, the elderly Christian woman explained she personally never took the opportunity to witness Christ to her Hebrew friend. They met her in Israel. (more…)
Taking the Sword of the Spirit
By Rick King
July31, 2011
Are we taking up the sword of the spirit or our sword? There is truly a difference.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
In the above passage the words say the sword of the spirit. We have been taught that the Bible is the sword of the spirit. This is true but this has a twist to it that if you do not grasp, then you will not walk in power. This is the spirit’s sword, not ours. The Bible tells us that: (more…)
You Put A Smile On God’s Face
I’ve been through some really hard times over the past few years with serious health issues, financial pressures, losing a job I truly loved and the various other rigours life puts us through. One day I felt so low, I went into our local Christian bookshop for comfort. I’d been in there before and felt the presence of God. I made a special trip there that day, as all I wanted was to be near my Dad!
God did something really special. As soon as I went through the door, I had a really strong feeling in my heart, that God’s face lit up in a huge smile. (more…)
The Whole Armor Of God
By James Alford
The Whole Armor Of God By James Alford, Minister Of Righteousness
“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6: 11-12. (more…)
DOES GOD HEAR THE PRAYERS OF UNBELIEVERS? (Inspired by Jill Briscoe, Rick Warren and myself)
DOES GOD HEAR THE PRAYERS OF UNBELIEVERS? (Inspired by Jill Briscoe, Rick Warren and myself)
By Sana Edoja
DOES GOD HEAR the prayers of people who aren’t Christians? Yes! Every one of us who came to faith in Christ was an unbeliever once, and God heard our prayer of repentance.
Captain Cornelius is a good example of a good man who was in the habit of praying. He was devout, he feared God, and he gave generously to charity (Acts 10:2). His entire household followed suit. (more…)
The Parable of the 10 Virgins – a Warning to Christians in the Last Days
By Robert Hawes
Among the teachings of Jesus, the parable of the 10 Virgins, found in Matthew chapter 25, ranks as one of the most grave. In it, the Lord presents a warning, namely that some of those who set out with the best of intentions to find the kingdom of God will not enter it, but will find themselves turned away in the end. As such, this is not a teaching that we can afford to misunderstand. (more…)
What is the Role of a Modern Christian?
Before departing from earth following his resurrection, Jesus made clear the mission of the first Christians in Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” (more…)
Through Me
“I praise you Father for all of the wonderful things that you do and what you choose to do through me today!” It is not all about me and what I can do but what God can do through me. Getting your eyes off of yourself and your selfish desires and wants and focussing on what God wants to do through you that impacts people and life around you. It starts as a daily attitude that you wrap your mind around every morning. How does your day start? Do spend some time with God in the morning to help start your day off right? Just as you would prepare for an important interview or presentation you should prepare yourself to meet the day head on as one who “is more than a conquer”. Putting on the mindset of Christ every morning is how you adjust your attitude. (more…)
Evidence of Forgiveness
Just as many people can easily proclaim they are born again without any fruit to show for it, there are many cases of Christians professing they have forgiven their offenders with no evidence of forgiveness. Can there be real forgiveness without evidence? (more…)
The Antichrist: How Will He Come?
One of the undeniable quandaries regarding the antichrist, is how will he arrive in such a way and at such a time that will make Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims all be willing to accept this same man as their mutual leader? If he arrives as a Jew or a Christian, the other major world religions will reject him. Likewise, if he arrives as a Hindu or a Buddhist, he will be rejected by the Muslims, Christians and Jews. And, if he arrives as a Muslim, he will receive the same rejection from the other religions. How can he arrive in a manner that will make 500 million Buddhists, two billion Christians, one billion Hindus, one and one-half billion Muslims and millions of Jews all welcome him as their mutual leader? His appearance will obviously have to involve some apparently supernatural or miraculous signs in order to attain this worldwide acceptance throughout all of earth’s major world religions. (more…)
I Am Amazed!
Psalm 8:3-5 3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? 5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. Job 7:17 “What is mankind that you make so much of them, that you give them so much attention. (more…)
Elements of Spiritual Growth: Making the Relationship The Focus
Posted in: Christian Living Tags: christian, Christianity, god, Jesus, Religion and Spirituality, spirit, spiritual
By Greg Baker
Taking your spirituality to the next level requires certain ingredients. Without these, we can’t achieve the level of spirituality that makes Christianity meaningful and profitable to both the Christian and the Kingdom of God. This element of spiritual growth depends on making the relationship you have with Jesus the focus. (more…)
3 Things Forgiveness Is Not
Forgiveness is probably one of the most misunderstood, and most controversial, topics in all of Christianity. You wouldn’t think forgiveness could be controversial, but if you ever talk with a person who’s had something truly vile happen to them, you’ll find that the idea of forgiving hits a deep nerve in them. I think this is because most people, including many preachers, don’t understand what forgiveness really is. The end result is that Christians end up with wrong ideas of what they have to do in order to forgive, and they don’t want to do those things, so they don’t forgive. I’m here to explain what forgiveness is not, to smash those myths and show how easy forgiveness can be if you don’t try to attach man-made conditions to it. (more…)
