Does God Exist?
By Fergus Davar
Hi folks, it’s nice to write again. This Sunday (October 4, 2009) my Church had a Gospel Sunday. We were asked to invite some friends. I invited the people from my city. The Word today was focused on complete freshers, those who are struggling just to believe that God exist.
Now for those who don’t believe in God. This may happen when people go through hard times in life but I will tell you this they will come to the conclusion that God does not exist when they are out of the bad situation. They somehow fail to see who was instrumental in pulling them out. I say instrumental because God often uses the environment around His people to help them out. As my Pastor rightfully puts it there is never an atheist on a sinking ship except may be in the movies. Even an atheist will say yes to God in a dire situation but when he is out of that situation he forgets God because of his own pride to stick to his notions & he will make himself believe that it was just a coincidence or he got lucky or he had some good people to rely on. He thinks everything worked in his favour without God something like a diesel engine running without diesel. Without God nothing happens & nothing exists. (more…)
Keeping your faith
Keeping your faith
By Fergus Davar
Hi people, I write again and again from this Sunday’s word in Church. You may make out the theme of this article from the subject but I won’t mention it till I get to the end.
I won’t be quoting much scripture to keep this article short and readable; this is a first from me. I’ll be talking from 1 Kings 18 & 19. Here is a little background. The tribe of Judah with their land has split from Israel. Israel has drifted from God & worships false gods & idols like Baal. The King of Israel then was Ahab and his wife was Jezebel. The famous prophet of God then was Elijah. (more…)
Authentically Experienceing God
Authentically Experienceing God
By Peter Craft
Your spirit soars with the music and you hear your voice, rich with commitment, join the rest in Godly song. You just know that His Spirit has bought life into His church. The communion with God is palpable. He has touched you and everyone else. Yet, just a few rows back is another Christian who thinks that you really don’t know God, haven’t been touched by Him, because you are too reserved and don’t seem spirit filled enough! So have you had an authentic experience of God or not? (more…)

A couple of weeks ago, I sat in on a Bible study taught by an Israeli fellow named Baruch. The study itself was an exposition of Joel, which was very interesting in its own right, but one of the things that stuck with me was actually a side note that Baruch mentioned offhandedly. (more…)

Hi people I am writing again. I am always hungry to write on an article of my own & I did have one this time, I was going to write on Isaiah 64 because when I read it I felt as though I was spiritually in a cup & stirred with a spoon. I mean it was amazing. However I have an odd feeling to write on the Word I heard again in Church. The reason I feel more strongly to write on this is because there are people who site this piece of scripture so as to show that Jesus is not God. This situation seems to me as very dangerous, which can pollute a mind that knows little. (more…)

Spiritual Warfare
By Nellie Shani
I still remember the look of guilt on the face of a young girl who had come to my office for counseling when she asked me ?What is Satanism? Who is Satan? I mean?who created him?? I looked at her for a while, trying to figure out what she really wanted to know. I needed to know whether this was an ?I?m trying to trap you to see whether you know what I know? question of a fifteen year old, or whether she seriously wanted to know about Satanism. I prayed, asking God to give me wisdom. I was the school counselor and had given some talks on ?spiritual warfare? at the Wednesday night youth group meetings. (more…)
You Made Me Lord ~ Psalm 139, Part 3

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marveloushow well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” ~ Psalm 139:13-18 (more…)
Is it wrong to use musical instruments in Christian worship services?
The worship of God could not be experienced more profoundly without offering up to Him songs of praise, devotion, love, thankfulness, and reverence for all the many blessings which has been bestowed upon those who are His children. Many Christian Churches have choirs who edify the flock with special renditions of praise through songs they have rehearsed and dedicate to the glory of God, while a few others offer praises to God through songs sung by the entire congregation of worshippers. Yet within the body of Christ there are a small minority who take a theological position that it is “sinful” or without Biblical authority to use mechanical instruments of music in the worship of the Lord God. To these strict interpreters of the Bible, acappela singing is the only acceptable manner that is pleasing in the sight of God. It is prudent therefore to examine the Holy Scriptures to determine the proper guidance in this matter of faith practice. (more…)

God’s Image In Us
By: Nikola Dimitrov
Let me set the foundation of our study and research with the Scripture passage from Genesis 1:26-28, which shows the original purpose with which the Lord created us:
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (more…)
