Two Billion Christians to One
An article in the Daily Oklahoman today (12/20/2011) should be an encouragement to Christians. It was written by Rachel Zoll and it was entitled, “Study Shows Shift in Christian Population”.
The article stated that, “Christians overall remain the largest religious group in the world, according to a new analysis released Monday.” Christians should rejoice over this information. The Gospel is reaching people. People are being changed, for the better. They are meeting and following the Lord of the universe. (more…)
RESPONSE TO THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES TEACHING ON BEING BORN AGAIN
RESPONSE TO THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES TEACHING ON BEING BORN AGAIN
By Jeremiah opusunju
1. The Jehovah witnesses preach that believers do not need to be born again to inherit the kingdom of God on earth. During this dispensation of grace, this teaching is a perversion of the gospel of Christ.
Jesus Christ said that no one will see or enter into the kingdom of God (whether in heaven or on earth) during the dispensation of grace (the period of the gospel of Christ) without being born again (John 1:9-13; 3:3-19; 1Peter 2:13; Galatians 1:6-9). (more…)
POSITIVE PEERS BY JILL BRISCOE AND MYSELF
By sana edoja
Peers have so much power with our children. Young people who hang around together exert enormous influence on each other. It’s difficult not to go along with the group’s decisions. Peers so often take precedence over parents.
I asked a teenager in my Sunday class one day, “What have you been doing with yourself?”
“Oh, just hanging around”, was the reply. (more…)
Loitering in the Foyer of The Kingdom

You heard the Gospel and God’s call penetrated through to your heart. You believed. And immediately you were translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light, but you’ve been standing around in the foyer of the Kingdom ever since. (more…)
Wrong Love
(1 John 2:15 KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
John uses a strong prohibition; “??? ?????????”Love Not the world! The world here doesn’t mean God’s creation but the sinful pleasures that are in the world due to sin. Christians are loving the things that are in the world and not the Creator of the world. We are in love with material things and conforming ourselves after the things of the world. (more…)
A stronger you, a strong church
By beatrice ofwona
The Word of the Lord does not come in any established form or system. John the Baptist was the voice in the wilderness that preached the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. He shook people’s mentalities and thinking patterns. Just like John’s was the voice that took the Word of God to the people, so too must you take the Gospel to others. John was born for the very purpose of preparing the way for Christ; likewise, what God has planned for your life shall come to pass. (more…)
Does God Exist?
By Fergus Davar
Hi folks, it’s nice to write again. This Sunday (October 4, 2009) my Church had a Gospel Sunday. We were asked to invite some friends. I invited the people from my city. The Word today was focused on complete freshers, those who are struggling just to believe that God exist.
Now for those who don’t believe in God. This may happen when people go through hard times in life but I will tell you this they will come to the conclusion that God does not exist when they are out of the bad situation. They somehow fail to see who was instrumental in pulling them out. I say instrumental because God often uses the environment around His people to help them out. As my Pastor rightfully puts it there is never an atheist on a sinking ship except may be in the movies. Even an atheist will say yes to God in a dire situation but when he is out of that situation he forgets God because of his own pride to stick to his notions & he will make himself believe that it was just a coincidence or he got lucky or he had some good people to rely on. He thinks everything worked in his favour without God something like a diesel engine running without diesel. Without God nothing happens & nothing exists. (more…)
Today Is The Day For Change

Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” – Luke 19: 9, 10
I find it amazing how when a person surrenders their life to the Lord, not only does this create a change in that person, but it begins affecting others around them. It’s like people are drawn to it and they become convicted that they need this change in their life as well. (more…)
Five Fold Ministry and Isaiah 28:23-29
By Cindie York
In Isaiah, the farmer is able through the wisdom of God and His direction to cultivate, plant, reap, etc. The farmers don’t just plow and break up the ground, when the field is ready, they scatter the seeds, they plant in the proper places and they learn this from God. After the harvest, that which they have reaped are prepared (pounded, shaped, formed), which is through the wisdom given by the Lord God. (more…)

The House of Mourning: On Revival and Repentance

Wisdom lifts up her voice. Do we hear her: “Many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” She is greater than fine diamonds. Have we desired her: “He brings low the mighty and exalts the lowly.” By her judges rule and kings reign. Have we discovered her: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Consider wisdom: (more…)
We Reign In Life By Receiving From God
by Roger and Eileen Himes
Copyright 2006 Roger and Eileen Himes
Jesus talks a lot about ‘overcoming’ in life. This side of the cross, we are told that we overcome by receiving from God. The New Testament talks a lot about receiving from God. The Old Testament was just the opposite. It was one of giving to God: obedience by keeping the law, and by repentance, and by sacrifice and offerings. But in the New Testament things changed. As Paul says ‘all things became new’ (II Cor 5:17). (more…)

We all have the same life purpose: We are here to fully demonstrate the Christ within.
We have all got the same decision to make: We can choose to accept our Divinity and follow the guidance that comes from our Christ Consciousness — or not.
There is only one story in the Bible: That story is about how we use, more won’t power than will power when it comes to “expressing our divinity.”
The following story is an example of that on-and-off-again relationship. The story comes from the 8th Chapter of John’s Gospel, verses 2-11: (more…)
