Secret Altars
In a recent teaching, “Secret Things in High Places” at http://godsrevivalarena.org/sermons/secret-things-in-high-places , we studied how the devil wants us to have secret high places in our lives habits, addictions, secret strongholds and sins that he can use to destroy us. The Lord revealed that the devil would like to laugh at us in the corner as we are religiously fine in front of others, singing on the choir, preaching, shouting, and doing other “churchy” things, but privately having “secret altars”. He can use those secret altars to completely undermine our spiritual lives. Just as Israel worshiped at the altars in high places, religiously following after the traditions of Judaism, but also practicing the ungodly rituals of the nations around them, many believers are sacrificing their lives at secret altars. What God requires of Mankind
Mic 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Deut 5:29
29) Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
Deut 13:4
4) It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. (more…)
THE OBSCURE TEACHINGS OF PAUL
So the early Christian church was divided into two “camps”, unlike today. The followers of Jesus, led by his brother James, in one that took the very Jewish message to the Jews and the diaspora of Israel, proselyting Gentiles on the way; whereas Paul carried a very simple message of the Christ to the Gentiles and accepting Jews..no special observance of the Law, no circumcision, no special keeping of the sabbath, no concern for “unclean” food..making it easier for Gentiles to accept his teaching. The Bible is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is represented by the country of Israel. The laws of God were given to the Israelites along with the blessings and the covering of sin through the required sacrifices. All the prophecies about Jesus and the end times are also covered in the Old Testament. The New Testament tells of those prophecies fulfilled through Jesus Christ. (more…)
The Law of Moses was given through the administration of angels
Posted in: bible studies Tags: angels, bible, bible studies, Christ, christian, Christianity, commandments, israel, Judaism, lord, Torah, worship
It is commonly believed that the Law [Torah], which is the foundation stone of Judaism and indirectly, Christianity, was given to Moses on fiery, Mount Sinai came from God; but in actuality it came through the administration of the angels of God. Of course, it is believed that these commandments, statutes and ordinances were directed by God Himself and therefore were obligatory for the children of Israel to observe and practice in the worship of their LORD. Miracle Lightning Strike!
By BILL HUNT
Can you witness to someone who speaks another language? Dark haired and dark eyed, this striking uniformed woman entered the crowded gift shop in Central Florida. The Hebrew on her uniform told me she was a traveling Israeli Army officer. An elderly American couple accompanied her. When I greeted the strangers by the impulse of the Holy Spirit, the elderly Christian woman explained she personally never took the opportunity to witness Christ to her Hebrew friend. They met her in Israel. (more…)
The Thessalonians’ Case
It is clear from the book of Acts (chapter 17); that the birth of the Thessalonians’ church was not a piece of cake, the apostle encountered rejection and persecution, and this is due to the jealous Jews .The power of the Jews in that city was in a sort like their power today in the field of Media (in USA), as we read they stirred up the crowds against the apostles, they even caused Paul and his fellow workers to flee to Berea. It is certainly clear that this church was born “persecuted” and linked with afflictions, and from the first letter to the Thessalonians; we can notice easily that the church in Thessalonica suffered mainly from their countrymen, and not from the Jews (1Thess. 2: 14) as the apostle had suffered before, but we can understand from the context of Acts 17 that they (the Jews) were the first cause of this persecution (Acts 17:8). Any way this persecution seems to be continuing as far as we know- to the day Paul sent them his second letter (nearly by the year 51-52 A.C.) which I would like in this article to explore the first seven verses of it. This article is a motivational product, a success article, a success report and it is part of the contents of some of my success e-books that are spreading very fast around the internet. It is indeed a great Bible success article for your use!
Fear is one of the major reasons why many people have not only found it difficult achieving their aims in life but it has also made lots of people forfeit the opportunity of experiencing the best of God!
I have really gone deep into the Bible to find out how this “enemy” can be put under check by anybody. This study has really given me the opportunity to learn along the line and I have always been very brave to confront this “enemy” headlong. I hope you will also learn a great deal from this success article.
Exodus Chapter Six

Moses wanted to know why the Lord has not delivered the descendants of Jacob from their bondage in Egypt and brought them to the land of Canaan. The promise to give the land of Canaan to the descendants of Jacob remains unfulfilled today. The reason it remains unfulfilled today is the same reason why the Lord has not brought the sons of Israel out of Egypt. Moses was under the false illusion that all he had to do is do what the Lord told him to do and Pharaoh would let the sons of Israel leave Egypt. In Moses first encounter with Pharaoh Moses should have learned a lesson we all need to learn in this present age. Pharaoh has his own gods and he considers himself a god and he is not going to respond to the demands of the gods of another nation or the demands of a king of another nation.
What Moses should have done when Pharaoh refused to permit the sons of Israel to go into the wilderness and celebrate a feast to their God, is go to the Lord and instead of questioning the Lord as to why He has permitted harm to come to the sons of Israel and why He has sent him to deliver the Lords’ command to leave the sons of Israel go into the wilderness and why He has not delivered the sons of Israel from their bondage is go to the Lord and tell Him without His help Pharaoh will not permit the sons of Israel to leave Egypt. Without the intervention of the Lord the present situation in the Middle East and world wide will not be brought to a conclusion. It is time for Israel, her enemies, the nations of this earth, the United States of America, and Christianity to wake up; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is about to do what He did over three thousand years ago in ancient Egypt. Isaiah 53:2
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Birth and Call of Moses

Moses was not born to be a slave in the land of Egypt. He was not born to serve in the king of Egypt’s court. He was not born the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He was not born to be the shepherd of his father-in-law’s flock. He was born to be a spokesman for God. Moses was given the honor and privilege of delivering a message from the King of the kingdom of heaven to, first the sons of Israel announcing their deliverance from bondage in Egypt and second to the king of Egypt announcing the deliverance of the sons of Israel in a diplomatic form; a request to let the sons of Israel go into the wilderness and offer a sacrifice to their God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Moses, while it is not stated in the Bible, was given a command similar to the one given to Abraham. Abraham was told to leave his country, his relatives, and his father’s house. Moses is told to leave his father-in-law’s flock, his family, and the land of Midian. (more…)
Miracle Makes No Belief

In Ex 33 God was not pleased with the children of Israel and twice referred to them as ‘stiff necked people’. Ever wondered why?
“Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy you.
Undoubtedly, Miracles are great, spectacular, mind-bowing, supernatural, convicting and convincing. But they are not a daily occurrence and we should not expect them daily. God gives miracles when He wants to. He is a sovereign God and does the miraculous according to His will. We need to develop our intimacy with Him and our faith in Him and learn to live by faith, appropriating the promises; obtaining them with the heavenly currency of faith. (more…)

1 Timothy 2:8
I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
1. “I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands”
a. Psalm 63:4 “Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.”
1). The Scriptures say we can bless God by lifting up our hands to him. Praise God that he has ordained in his grace and mercy that we can bless him by such a simple and pure act from the heart in lifting up our hands to him. (more…)
God’s Covenant with Moses

Moses was pasturing the flock of his father-in-law Jethro in the south west part of the Sinai Peninsula on the west side of Horeb, another name for Mt Sinai, when the Lord spoke to him from a burning bush. Here is good news for all the children of God in troubled times. The Lord told Moses He has seen the affliction of His people who are in Egypt and heard their cries because of the taskmasters and has come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and bring them into a land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 3:7-8).
What is amazing is the Lord is not going to send a company of angels to defeat the army of Egypt and free the sons of Israel from slavery and oppression in Egypt. Instead, He is going to Moses who fled Egypt because Pharaoh was seeking to kill him because he had killed an Egyptian who was beating one of the sons of Israel; as a result Moses spends nearly forty years of his life pasturing a flock that is not his. Moses will wander in the wilderness with his father-in-law’s flock until the Pharaoh who was seeking to kill him is replaced by a Pharaoh who does not know Moses and his past. (more…)
