THE SINNER SAVED BY GRACE
Posted in: bible studies Tags: Christianity, Death, god, House, Jesus, Jesus Christ, Religion and Spirituality, salvation
The plan of salvation began way back… in heaven. Man was made in the image of GOD. His corruption would mean a corrupted image; a corrupted image would mean a corrupted object_ a corrupted GOD! But GOD is not at all corrupted; HE is without sin, in HIM there is no darkness at all. There had to be image swapping; there had to be a substitute_ there had to be a perfectionist! There had to be the incorruptible that corruption may be overcome. And that was the incorruptible seed: JESUS CHRIST.
Two Gates-Two Paths

Many look at life and exclaim “Life is Good!” as if their existence is simply about having a good time. They go on living each day without any concern for their eternal destination as they engage themselves in the world’s current affairs. Throwing themselves into the pleasures of the world has become their reason for living. Their only gratification comes from their weekend leisure. Conviction is thrown by the wayside and they lash out at anyone who disapproves of their immoral choices.

By Kathleen D. Angell
I was in a circumstance today that I realized how much the Body of Christ can be thirsty for Love.
I’m often not attentive to others needs. Maybe it is a child’s or a teens needs, or just someone there in my day, that they just needed to know a touch of Jesus’ [...]

“ELIAKIM”
There are 2 Eliakim’s; one is a son of Hilkiah (Cp. II Kings 18: 18) and the other Eliakim is the king of Judah, whose name was changed to “Jehoiakim” by Necho king of Egypt (Cp. II Chronicles 36: 4).
Joy

Love and Joy and Jesus life are those Waters in the Well that never go dry. You don’t have to keep them, you can give them away. And the more we give, the more we get in return to give away again.
What are the Commandments that Christians are supposed to keep?
Posted in: Christianity Tags: Christians, god, Jesus, Jesus Christ, Law, Old Testament, Religion and Spirituality, Ten Commandments, Torah
I did not come to destroy ['loosen'] the law ["Torah"] and Prophets but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth shall pass away, one Yodh [smallest letter] or one small stroke will by no means pass from the Law ["Torah"] till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

That change has a definite beginning, and then grows in fits and starts. This change is always personal — it always effects personal values, beliefs and behavior. And a personal relationship with Jesus Christ necessarily means a covenantal relationship because God always relates to His people covenantally.
Homily, She has always spoken to my heart, Mary Magdalene
Posted in: bible studies Tags: apostle, bible, Christianity, god, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene
So frequently, the merit and worth of Mary Magdalene has been her controversy in the Church. That is the popular conception. After all, how widely spread is the belief she was married to Jesus. An unlikely reality, by most Biblical and Gospel measure: One sermon writer says:
Change Is A Choice!

Everyone in the place was sick or suffering from something. If we are honest about it we are just like those people. We are all suffering from something ourselves. Maybe it is something we can talk about, maybe it is something we keep hidden in our secret closet. The only difference between some of us and some of them is that we have made a decision to put our faith in Jesus and we have been healed. We have made a decision that no matter what it cost we are not going to stay in this same spot another year, two or even another day.
The Hope Of Glory
Posted in: bible studies Tags: Body of Christ, Christianity, god, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Jesus Christ, New Covenant, Religion and Spirituality
God had given Israel a hope. He had given them an expectation that was for a future time. He declared it to them in ceremonies, feasts, offerings and by the prophets. Their lives were in expectation of something to come. So when THE TIME came and God finally spoke in His Son summing up in Him their hope (Heb. 1:1-2), most of them rejected Him.
Do you have to be Baptized to be saved?

Now when they heard this [the gospel], they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do [to be saved]?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (Cp. 3: 16); and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Why Christ Died For Us
Posted in: bible studies Tags: bible, bible studies, Easter, Faith, god, Jesus Christ
The Son of Man died to save humanity from sin. All Christians followed, believed, and lived such doctrine of faith hook, line and sinker until their last breath. It was all out of love for sinful humanity that He laid down His inconsumable life. Amen!
How did we get our Bible?

Every year around Easter, prominently displayed, nationally known magazines parade before an unsuspecting public, articles about ancient books which these magazines allege should, could or would have become books in the Bible.
Suffer No Harm
Now, if you’re like me and suffer from a severe phobia of the slithering kind, our carnal minds would have us believe that being bitten by a viper IS considered suffering harm! But, praise the Lord, we are not slaves to the mind of our flesh. If you continue reading, you’ll see that Paul was able to continue his ministry and suffered no ill effects from the bite.
