Elements of Spiritual Growth: Making the Relationship The Focus

By Greg Baker
Taking your spirituality to the next level requires certain ingredients. Without these, we can’t achieve the level of spirituality that makes Christianity meaningful and profitable to both the Christian and the Kingdom of God. This element of spiritual growth depends on making the relationship you have with Jesus the focus. (more…)

Christians Awake, the bell has rung and the trumpet has sounded!
In a time we all need to pull together and get this country back on course. It would appear Obama has other plans. He is still trying to divide the American people, and he is doing a great job. In his hope to destroy this country he continues in his quest to also deny the very foundation of our nation. That being God Almighty! Think Obama, we would not be a country if not for God. Have you noticed when he is making speeches to various groups here in America and around the world he will not acknowledge Jesus Christ or God as creator. He will however acknowledge the Muslims; “Allah”. He seems to be well versed with ideas and philosophies to get around the truth. (more…)
Was Jesus around the age of thirty or fifty during His minisrty?
Was Jesus around the age of thirty or fifty during His minisrty?
By Robert Randle
It is the traditional belief that Jesus [YESHUA] started His public ministry of preaching and healing at the age of thirty which lasted for about three and a half years but only two of the gospel narratives mention anything about Jesus’ age including His trip to the Temple with Mary, Joseph and their relatives at age 12 (Cp. Luke 12: 41-44). Why is it that people are so quick to accept Luke’s version about Jesus’ age when He was not among any of the eyewitnesses and not only that, but since he was a Greek-speaking Gentile it does cause one to question how much access he could have had to Jewish sources that were reliable and willing to share with a foreigner the complete truth regarding their Messiah, as in the following below: (more…)
A steadfast anchor

Many Christians do not understand what the Bible says about the doctrine of eternal security; however the Bible clearly teaches that a Christian cannot lose his salvation. I would like to share three reasons why we as Christians must believe in our own eternal security.Ā First, Jesus taught that the believer is eternally secure. The apostle Paul also taught that the believer is eternally secure. Thirdly, the writer of Hebrews powerfully argues that the believer is eternally secure.

In the Body of Christ the fulfillment lies, the promise fulfilled.
In the Body of Christ God blesses us, God loves us, God protects us, God redeems us.
In the Body of Christ, God’s grace flows unto us, just as if we are Christ Himself, because we are in the Body of Christ. (more…)
Burdens that We Should Carry
How do you feel about ruling and reigning with Christ Jesus when he comes back to earth for his thousand year reign? Most of us can handle the wedding, marriage supper of the Lamb and being a Bride, but the rest is in there too.
Serving leadership
Serving leadership
By beatrice ofwona
The church has a lot of resources but no leadership to help manage it. God is constantly looking for leaders whom He can use in his Kingdom, unfortunately many people shy away from or compromise on true leadership. 1Timothy 3 gives the specifications for an overseer and even tells us that it is noble to desire to be this person. It is alright to aspire for leadership but true leadership must come with an integration of person, practice and principles.
If you are bequeathed with a lot of talents yet continue to use them unwisely, you will soon be poor. Leadership is about spiritual character which radiates to others and positively influences them. (more…)
Power of Praise

Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Ex 15:11 (KJV)
Did you know that God has a dwelling place here on earth? Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits in the praise of His people. What an advantage for the believer because “if God be for us who can be against us”.(Rom 8:31).while you are praising God, His presence is all around you ,you in Him and Him in you(2 Chronicles 15:2). How Capable is God in Your Life
Are you walking on water in the middle of the storm or are you going through fiery trials thinking you are ready for the burn unit, maybe a little bit of both is happening to you right now. During the time I was thinking about this and bringing things before the Lord I was particularly concerned about a friend. Many other times in my walk with the Lord I found myself in the trial and tribulation department. This study can apply to both situations. I think I can be pretty sure when I say that if you are a born again believer you definitely know there IS a battle, and then you hear His still, small voice whispering in your ear: (more…)
Christians: His chosen people

Hi people, I am back but this time I will be talking about something that may not go down very well. So keep a glass of water by your side.. lol. Well today to I will be talking about what was preached to me by another pastor. The stuff makes sense and is what the real world is about.
Let’s dwell on John 3:16.
16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
Now it is said that God loves the whole world & the rest means what it says but does this mean that the whole world is saved, that is the whole world goes to heaven. Well my first answer was that anyone from anywhere in the world, who puts their trust in Christ are those who are saved but I was off the mark. The verse says that God loved the world and so the question is, will the whole world be saved? There were some who brought in the notion of free will, that is if WE CHOOSE to accept Christ then we are saved. Man .were they of the mark!!! If a person has the ability to choose Christ and be saved, then read Rev 7:10, it shows that Salvation comes from God and not from man’s ability to choose. (more…)
Bringing In the Sheaves – The Work of the Lord
By Jerry Ousley
No one really likes work. That’s because real work is something we have to do when we’d rather be doing something else. Some people work very hard physically while others are privileged to work with their minds. Still, when it comes right down to it, most of us would rather be spending that work time doing what brings us pleasure. For instance, there are a lot of ministers, doctors, and other professional people, who do most of their work with their minds and skills. What they would rather be doing is spending more time out on the golf course, chasing a little white ball around and getting exercise by walking, or working out in a gym. Then you have the people who work in a foundry, factory or perhaps in some sort of construction, physically stretching their muscles until they can’t be stretched any more. These folks would much rather be curled up in a good recliner watching a football game or a good movie. The point is that most of us would rather be doing the opposite of what we are required to do. Disciple on a Crowded Bus
“Did you say your prayers this morning?” asked Grams as she twisted and pulled my hair through a rubberband that arrived with our newspaper that very morning. Wincing from the stinging pain, I shook my head to let her know I had. “Good girl! Jesus loves you,” she said in her usual sing-song way. (more…)
