The Story of a Beautiful Life

Published by Will

Once upon a time there was a man named Canon Farrar, who was the Arch Deacon of Westminster and the Minister to the Queen of England.  In the year 1900 he published a book titled “The Story of a Beautiful Life; A new twentieth century edition of the life of Christ.”

You’re probably wondering “Yeah, so what?”  “I’ve never seen the book and if it was written that long ago, chances are I won’t find a copy anywhere!”

Well, that’s where you’re wrong my friend!  We have a copy, and will soon begin posting the text from that book here. This book is beautifully laid out with the Lord’s story being told from start to finish, with some looks at the goings on from a historical point of view at times and a good amount of logic added in for good measure.

Also, we’ll show you some of the pictures in the book…this book is loaded with pictures of the then (late 1800’s) famous christian photos and paintings from around the world.  There are over 200 pictures in the book, and that’s in only 525 pages!

Remember…this was originally written in the late 1800’s and published in 1900, so some of the words are not what we would use now.  And some of the sentences are very, very long.  We wanted to share this beautiful book with you in the vein that it was originally written, so we decided not to change (modernize) any of the text.

We’ll start soon with the story as told by Cannon Farrar and we sincerely hope you enjoy this book as much as we have! Come back often and read to your hearts content.  Thank you for visiting today!
